Description
Welcome to the Health-Enhancing Medical Daoyin Qigong Arts!Prevent, heal, and restore balance within your body. Raise your energy levels, revitalize your sexual energy, and enhance your fertility or potency. All this and more awaits you in this course! As a scholar of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Daoist master, and a representative of the MaoShan and Huato Daoyin lineages, I have over 20 years of experience guiding individuals on their healing journeys-addressing both physical and emotional challenges. A common area of support has been dealing with conditions and issues related to reproductive health, such as tumors, cancer, cysts, or difficulties conceiving. This course provides a thoughtfully curated selection of foundational Daoyin Qigong exercises, specifically tailored to aid in the healing of these conditions. The exercises are simple to perform yet highly effective. A key aspect of the practice involves not only stimulating specific acupuncture points through movement but also intentionally focusing your awareness on these areas, amplifying the overall effectiveness of the exercises. The art of Daoyin 導引術 (the guiding and directing of Qi) can be traced back to 162 BCE. This is evidenced by the Mawangdui manuscripts, archaeological discoveries that feature the earliest depictions of people performing energetic gymnastics. These exercises, combined with breathing techniques (tuna 吐納), form the oldest known foundation of what is now referred to as Qigong or Chi Kung (depending on the transcription)-the intentional practice of working with the vital life energy, Qi.This course was designed in collaboration with Adriana Shaw from the MaoShan lineage, an experienced instructor in energy flow techniques and Daoyin Qigong. She will guide you step by step through the exercises. These include a specific stretching exercise, two types of energetic breathing techniques connected to the principle of the "Return of Spring" (huichun 回春), as well as foundational practices of water alchemy.Through regular practice of the exercises, energetic, emotional, and physical blockages are gradually released. This allows energy to flow freely again, leading to greater harmony and optimal health within the body, and bringing your sexual energy - the foundation of life - back into balance.Enjoy your being and your roots in life, from which you exchange and experience the world with joy and love.
