This course covers knowledge and skills required to answer everything in the ABRSM Grade 7 Music Theory exam.Every topic in the syllabus is explained in a concise and easy-to-follow way. Each exam question is explained in detail, with step-by-step videos on how to tackle it. Grade 7 ABRSM comprises five questions:1) Adding figures to a given bass line and melody part2) Completing a Bach-style chorale or early-Classical ear keyboard style pieces, using suitable melodic decoration and keyboard accompaniments3) Composition of either a solo part to fit a given piano accompaniment, or a solo piece based on a given chord progression and stylistic opening.4) and 5) A mixed bag of score-reading question (e.g. intervals, chord recognition, cadences, transposition, identification of eras, knowledge about orchestral instruments and music terms and symbols etc.) Question 4 is usually a smaller-scale chamber music score, and question 5 is usually an extract from an orchestral score.PDF including - with detailed lessons, exercises, test and model answers.
