О музыке: Бостонская команда Meliah Rage, чье название пошло от индейского обычая употреблять перед битвой опиум, известна своим стремлением скрещивать элементы классического хэви с трэшем. Драйвовый мелодический риффинг, обжигающий вокал и гипнотические первобытные ритмы – вот те основные ингредиенты, на которые сделал ставку лидер коллектива Энтони Николс. Группа образовалась в 1987 году, причем в оригинальный состав также попали гитарист Джим Коури, вокалист Майк Манро, басист Джесс Джонсон и барабанщик Стюарт Доуи. Хотя музыканты тяготели к металлу, и их творчество находилось под влиянием Riot, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC и Megadeth, свое первое турне Meliah Rage провели в компании с бостонскими хардкорщиками Gang Green.
